Prong Design

Games are won and lost by the little vibrating prongs below that exquisitely detailed and painted figure and the attached base! In the old days EF only had one choice, but ITZ broke that wide open with our first product, ITZ dials, which had wide and thin prongs designed for strength and speed! The new Blitz bases extend the choices to EF coaches to three different types of prong designs; Fast, Strong, and Power. This gives each coach options for each position on his/her team. Blitz bases have prongs specifically designed to be easier to tweak, with little squishing and no cutting required to make a base that can run on anyone’s best team! Are you ready for Blitz bases…are you ready to chase victory?

Fast Prongs
These prongs are designed with one function in mind, stretching the field and closing in on receivers! Bases with fast prongs have a set of prongs in each corner of the base but the prongs are thin. This design helps them to glide across the board and make the big play to win the game!

Strong Prongs
Football games are most often won in the trenches, and electric football is the same! Bases with strong prongs have a set of prongs in each corner of the base just like the fast, but the prongs are just a little wider and thicker. This design (reminiscent of the CL2 design) makes them sturdier and better able to be tweaked with the angles and curling necessary to dominate the line! The beauty of this design is that it can also have great speed as well as be tweaked for tweeners. These are the players who just help you to win!

Power Prongs
There’s no doubting the intentions of this type of prong, it is to push the opposing player backwards, and they do their job! Bases with Power prongs have one wide prong in each corner of the base and are thin as well. This makes them incredibly easy to tweak with incredibly powerful results! Don’t look for them to win in the fastest man competition, but they’ll dominate in the trenches with even a beginner tweaking them!

Front Types
There’s nothing like the sound of plastic cracking as the board is turned on for us EF enthusiasts! The battle coach against coach and base against base drives the game. As bases first hit, it’s the shape of the front of the base and the position the coach puts them in that will often determine the outcome of this matchup…and ITZ has you covered as you match up your base against your opponents!

Flat Front
These bases are meant to engage the opposing base and hold position by maintaining contact. Great coaches put straight front bases on the offensive line to keep the defensive line from penetrating and on all defensive players engaging with eligible receivers to hold them on the LOS and keep the offense from a big play.

Rounded Front
Bases with rounded fronts are meant to interact with bases in front of them, hold position, but also slide off and move up field. If you have an active defensive line you want them to penetrate and move up field to sack the QB or drop the back for a loss. Bases with this front are also great as RBs and QBs, running forward, hitting the back of the OL base, and sliding off at the right moment!

Bullet Fronts
Bases with bullet fronts are more rounded than rounded fronts (though not as round or as long as boat bases), and while they may have a base in front of them in the short-while, they instantly slide off and move upfield. With the pressure these tournament coaches bring you don’t have much time to pass…you better have some of these bullet bases on your receivers if you want to take home the championship!

Base Types
The type of base determines a lot in electric football, and nobody brings you a better variety than ITZ!!! Whatever game you’re running, we got you covered!

Standard Bases
Standard bases have all the prongs molded directly in the base, so their functionality (ability to move in different directions in a relative stealthy manner) is low. What they lack in functionality they make up for in being constant and dependable. These bases are low-weight and have plenty of space under the base to put weight to balance the figure and to make the base perform better! If you want a player to just do his one job right every time, this is the base for you!

Sideways Base
This new base is a standard base, but it is meant to run sideways with the long side facing the opponent. Designed with slightly shorter prongs and with two cutouts in the back to push the back prongs a little further back and make the base more sturdy and powerful, these bases are ideal as cover corners for the defense and offensive linemen offensively. These bases will push the loopers further outside, giving your QB more time to find the open receiver and win the game!

DCB Base
The back prongs of the Dial Control Base (DCB) are molded into the base, but the front prongs are mounted on a wheel underneath the base that turns, allowing the coach to set the forward direction the moment the board is turned on! This helps change the forward direction of the player and gives the coach better control of his/her team! Additional color dials SOLD separately
